Diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2014, Sandy McCarty has been through life-changing experiences. After beating the odds, she is now sharing her inspirational and educational story with others. She began her own company, Survivor Financial, LLC, to help make a difference in communities around her. As a mother of five, Sandy understands the importance of preparing for the future, and more importantly, the unexpected. She has made it a top priority to help educate on the importance of proper planning and cancer awareness. Sandy’s presentation style has been described as ‘engaging’ and ‘inspiring.’ During her presentation, she challenges listeners to take charge of their life, to be more self-aware, and to never settle on society's standards. Sandy has been featured on KCCI News Channel 8, the CBS affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa, and belongs to the National Speakers Association (NSA). Prior to Survivor Financial, Sandy’s experiences brought her to northern California where she worked as a Realtor(r) for XX years. She still serves as a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Sandy and her husband spend much of their free time with family, fitness training, traveling and spending time with their newborn grandson. She resides in Southlake, Texas.
